Introducing the Darwin Creator Agent

Today we're releasing the Darwin Creator MCP — a Model Context Protocol server that puts the full creator lifecycle inside any AI assistant. Ideate, script, schedule, publish, analyze, and monetize across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. All through natural conversation. Free forever — your AI uses its own tokens; Darwin charges nothing.

The MCP works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any client that supports the Model Context Protocol. Three-minute install, no code. Add a connector URL, authenticate your creator accounts via OAuth, and start talking. The AI picks the right tools automatically based on what you ask for.

Why an MCP

Running a content business means juggling six different workflows across a dozen tools. You brainstorm in one app, write scripts in another, schedule posts in a third, check analytics in a fourth, manage brand deals in a fifth, and track revenue in a sixth. Each tool knows one piece of your business. None of them talk to each other. You're the integration layer, and that's a full-time job on top of the actual job of creating content.

The Creator MCP collapses all of that into conversation. Your AI assistant connects directly to Darwin Studio, which already syncs with your YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X accounts. Instead of opening six tabs, you ask one question and get a single answer that pulls from all your data. Here is what that looks like across six core workflows.

1. Brainstorming & Ideation

The ideation engine factors in your posting history, your audience demographics, what formats are performing for similar creators right now, and what topics have high search volume but low competition. The result is a ranked list of ideas that are timely, on-brand, and backed by data.

Top trending topic: "5 AI tools replacing junior devs in 2026" — 3.8M views across the niche this week. I've drafted a fast-paced, controversy-hook script with 5 sections. Ready for your review.

Pick one, ask for a script, and you're in production before you've opened a doc. The generate_script tool writes a full script — hook, body, and CTA — from the top idea. No generic suggestions. Every recommendation is personalized to your channel.

2. Content & Trend Analysis

This is the analytics dashboard you never built. Instead of checking YouTube Studio, Instagram Insights, and TikTok Analytics separately, you ask one question and get a unified picture.

}

Shorts under 45s are 3.2× higher retention than long-form this month. Views up 18%, watch time up 24%. Peak audience activity: Tue/Thu 6-9pm EST.

The AI doesn't just report numbers — it identifies patterns. "Your tutorials outperform vlogs 2.1x on watch time but vlogs drive 3x more comments. If engagement is the goal, lean into vlogs. If revenue is the goal, tutorials deliver." Actionable, specific, personalized to your data.

3. Storyboarding & Scripts

The generate_hooks tool is worth calling on its own. Feed it any topic or script and it produces multiple high-retention opening hooks optimized for the first three seconds — the lines that determine whether someone swipes or watches.

Storyboard ready — 5 sections (hook → setup → build → reveal → CTA) with 3 hook variants: curiosity, bold claim, and question. B-roll notes and timing included.

The MCP generates hooks based on what's currently working in your niche, not generic templates. You can ask for variations — shorter, more provocative, question-based — and iterate until the hook feels right.

4. Cross-Platform Publishing

One prompt, every platform. The MCP adapts the content for each destination — YouTube gets the full SEO-optimized description, TikTok gets a short hook, Instagram gets reel-format caption with hashtags.

Schedule this for Friday at 9am across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Adapt captions for each.

Done

Scheduled for Fri Apr 4 at 9:00am EST across all 3 platforms. YouTube gets full SEO caption, TikTok gets short hook, Instagram gets reel-format caption. You'll get a notification when each goes live.

You can also publish immediately with publish_now, view your full queue with list_scheduled, and cancel or reschedule pending posts with cancel_post. The scheduling engine uses your audience data to suggest optimal publish times per platform. If your YouTube audience peaks at 6pm EST but your TikTok audience is most active at 9am, the MCP can stagger accordingly — all from the same conversation.

5. Creator Network

The search_creators tool queries Darwin's creator network by niche, subscriber count, engagement rate, platform, and posting frequency. Useful for collaborations, competitive research, and roster building.

12 matches found. Top pick: @CodeWithSara — 89k subs, 8.2% engagement, posts 3×/week. Audience: 72% male 18-34, US/UK. Brand safety: A+. Past collabs: NordVPN, Notion. Avg sponsorship CPM: $18.

The network data updates in real time from platform APIs, so the numbers reflect current performance, not cached snapshots. You can find creators whose audiences overlap with yours, identify potential collab partners based on complementary content styles, or benchmark your performance against similar channels.

6. Monetization & Revenue

This is where the Creator MCP connects to Darwin Studio's automated monetization engine. Every video you publish through Darwin gets analyzed for ad slot opportunities. Brands bid on those slots programmatically. You set the terms — minimum CPM, which categories are allowed, which brands are blocked — and Darwin handles the rest.

March earnings: $4,280 across all platforms. Your top 2 slots updated — CPM floor raised to $12. Estimated monthly impact: +$620 revenue.

Revenue forecasting is also built in. The get_revenue_forecast tool projects future earnings based on your current trajectory, seasonality patterns, and growth rate. "At this pace, you're on track for $8,400 in April — up 12% from March." When you're ready to withdraw, the request_payout tool initiates a transfer to your linked bank account. No invoicing, no net-30 terms.

Supported Platforms

At launch, the Creator MCP connects to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X. All five authenticate via OAuth. Facebook, Threads, Snapchat, Substack, Medium, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Pinterest, and Reddit are on the roadmap. Each new platform follows the same integration pattern — authenticate once, and the MCP adds it to your unified dashboard automatically.

22 Tools, 6 Resources

The MCP exposes 22 tools organized across six resource groups. Ideation: generate ideas, analyze trends, write scripts, and produce hooks. Publishing: schedule, publish, list, and cancel posts across platforms. Analytics: per-content performance, audience insights, and period-over-period comparisons. Revenue: earnings breakdowns, revenue forecasts, and payout requests. Monetization: ad slot management, CPM configuration, and slot-level analytics. Network: creator search and detailed profile lookups.

Every tool is callable by any MCP-compatible AI client. You never need to remember tool names — describe what you want and the AI handles the mapping. The full tool reference is available on the Creator MCP page.

Setup

Three steps, three minutes. First, sign up on Darwin's API Platform for a free API key — no credit card, no trial period, free forever. Second, add the MCP connector to your AI client. In Claude, open connector settings and paste the server URL. In ChatGPT, enable Developer Mode in Settings, then add a new connector. In Cursor or any other MCP client, add the server URL to your configuration. Third, connect your creator accounts. Click Connect on the Darwin connector, authenticate your YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X accounts via OAuth, and you're done. One-time setup. Credentials are encrypted at rest and OAuth tokens refresh automatically.

Once connected, start with something read-only: "Show me how my videos performed this week across all platforms." If the data comes back, everything is working. From there, you can brainstorm, schedule, optimize, and monetize — all from conversation.

What's Next

This is the first release. The Creator MCP will expand in two directions: more platforms and deeper intelligence. On the platform side, Facebook and Threads integrations are next, followed by the remaining channels. On the intelligence side, we're building cross-platform content optimization — the ability to analyze what's working on one platform and automatically adapt your strategy for another. The MCP already has unified data across all connected accounts. The next step is making it act on that data proactively.

The Creator MCP is free and available now. Install it from creatormcp.ai.
